City to Revise Industrial Zone Bylaw

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama admitted many industries violating building designation. Bylaw managing about this problem will be revised. The regulation is not for new industrial.

Too many of them running their business for years

"Too many of them running their business for years," he said, Tuesday (4/19).

Before revising the bylaw, his side will extend the permit for the next three years. In fact, the designation can not be changed.

City Drafts Sea Zone Bylaw

Bylaw to be revised is Bylaw No. 1/2014 about industrial spatial planning zone. It states that big and small industry must gather in one area.

"That is why the bylaw must be revised. This should accommodate small industry also," he closed.
